Paul McWilliams, CKA®

Founder & CEO — 11+ years as a financial advisor specializing in pastors, churches & ministry organizations

Growing up as a pastor’s kid, Paul witnessed firsthand the frustration his parents faced navigating the complex world of ministerial housing allowances — overwhelmed by paperwork, unclear regulations, and the constant worry of missing important documentation. For years, he found himself asking, “Shouldn’t there be a better way?”

That question became his mission. After more than 11 years as a financial advisor specializing in serving pastors, churches, and ministry organizations, Paul has guided hundreds of ministry leaders through the intricacies of housing allowances, retirement planning, and ministerial taxation. He’s become a trusted expert in an often-overlooked area of ministry support.

But expertise revealed a deeper problem: even with professional guidance, pastors were still burdened by the ongoing administrative weight of tracking receipts, categorizing expenses, and maintaining compliant records year after year. The burden of financial documentation was distracting faithful servants from their calling.

In 2025, Paul decided to stop asking and start building. MHA Tracker is the culmination of his professional insights and personal passion — an intuitive tool that empowers pastors and ministry leaders to manage their housing allowances with confidence and clarity.
